Proud to collaborate with Minuit sur Terre, a committed French brand producing shoes, bags, leather accessories, and ready-to-wear. As a long-time client, I admire their aesthetics and ethical, eco-friendly, vegan commitment.
Certified by PETA for animal-free products and a signatory of the Bien ou Bien charter, the brand uses natural or recycled materials, avoids overproduction, and manufactures its products in Europe.
Project: Illustration of a Toucan for Customer Appreciation Card
This project aims to create illustrations for a client’s thank-you cards, which include product care tips. The goal is to encourage customers to keep these cards by making them visually appealing, turning what is often a disposable item into an aesthetic keepsake.
The illustrations are designed in line with the brand’s values, emphasizing vegan production and French craftsmanship. Each new collection features a unique project where the illustration is paired with a signature embroidery of the season.
Hand-Painted Watercolour Illustration
During the initial briefing, my client and I discussed the important aesthetic, technical, and logistical aspects of the project. I appreciated the artistic freedom granted to me. The production constraints included specific dimensions, a colorful background with minimal white space, and a toucan as the main subject, inspired by a reference image.
This illustration was created with watercolor on paper, digitized, and converted to the required format for printing. My experience with the brand’s previously printed illustrations guided my work, while maintaining the distinctive style that caught my client’s attention.
