Story of Fragile
After Bichette [Doe], I created this portrait for the second time in monochrome, using water-soluble graphite in sanguine tones. I found that the emotion was conveyed even more effectively this way, with the transparency introducing an intriguing blending of the two figures, giving them an inseparable quality.
This delicate version invites quiet contemplation.
