For the second year in a row, I have the pleasure of exhibiting alongside talented watercolour artists.
This 35th edition features 99 artists from France, as well as Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, Poland, Moldova, Chile…
A true panorama of contemporary watercolour.

I am delighted that the jury – composed of experienced painters, esteemed figures in the visual arts, local councillors and members of the CAU – selected both pieces I submitted for this prestigious exhibition.

Meeting Artists at the Exhibition
At this weekend’s opening:
— I discovered the new works by the talented Viktoria and Slawa Prischedko (Germany) and Eugen Gorean (Moldova)
— There were three of us representing Aquarellistes en Nord: Fernand Thienpondt, Carine Delporte, and myself
— I was reunited with Jacques Blavier (Belgium) and Adriana Toso-Schulze (Germany), two inspiring encounters made during last year’s edition
— I shared lunch with Franck Hérété and attended his live painting demonstration – a joy, as I’ve admired his illustrative work for a long time
